a) Information you provide

• Phone number (used for account identification and login)
• PIN (stored securely and never transmitted in plain text)
• Session activity, responses, and reflections entered during coaching sessions
• Any content you voluntarily submit within the App

b) Information collected automatically

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• App usage data (e.g. features used, session events you trigger while signed in), sent to our systems to improve the service
• Crash reports and error diagnostics (may be processed by our error-reporting service provider, such as Sentry, to help us fix issues)
• Connection information (e.g. IP address, general region) as part of normal server operations

c) What we do not collect by default

• We do not collect your full name, email address, or billing information by default
• We do not access your contacts, photo library, or device files except where you choose a feature that requires it (see below)

Device permissions (microphone, photos)

Depending on your device, the App may request permission to use capabilities on your phone. We use these only to provide features you use:

• Microphone — used for voice-based coaching sessions (e.g. recording or streaming your voice during a session) when you use those features. We do not access the microphone in the background without your use of a voice feature.
• Photos (library) — used only if you choose to set or change a profile image from your existing photos, and only if you grant access.
• Camera — the App does not use the device camera.

2. How we use your information

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
• Deliver and improve the coaching session experience
• Enable communication between you and your coach
• Analyze usage patterns to improve App features
• Ensure App security and help prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With your coach: Session data and progress information may be shared with your assigned coach as part of the coaching service.
• Service providers: We may share data with trusted vendors who assist in operating the App (for example cloud hosting, analytics, and error/crash reporting), under agreements that require them to protect your information.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: If FocusPoint is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction with notice to you.

4. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain data.

5. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including secure HTTPS for data in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, and access controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 should have parental or guardian consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us at the email below.
